CLOG IN THE HOSE
A. Reverse the hose at the inlet on the power unit and manually turn the system on. This may remove minor blockages.
B. Drop a butter knife, dull end first, or other heavy object into the hose – sling it or twist to remove blockage. (Be very carful not to puncture the hose and cause further damage. If you have a 110 volt hose system, we do not recommend this procedure.)
C. Shove a garden hose thru the vacuum hose. (DO NOT TURN THE WATER ON).
D. In many cases, clogs in hoses can not be removed without causing damage to the hose itself. Consider purchasing a new hose.
